Parasol™ – Commercial-Grade Knitted Shadecloth.

Parasol™ Shadecloth is a commercial-grade knitted fabric designed for tension structures, shade sails, and other heavy-duty outdoor applications. Engineered for high strength and UV protection, it provides reliable performance in demanding environments while safeguarding against harmful sun exposure.

Manufactured using a combination of high-density monofilament and tape, Parasol™ delivers superior UV resistance, helping to reduce the risk of sunburn and skin damage. For ease of use and superior performance, the fabric is heat-set prior to rolling, ensuring it lays flat, resists curling, and maintains dimensional stability during fabrication and installation.

Key Features:
UV Stabilised – blocks up to 95% of harmful UV rays
Heat Set – lays flat for easier cutting, sewing, and installation
High Strength Construction – ideal for tension structures and heavy-duty applications
Abrasion Resistant – built to withstand wear and tear
Long-Lasting Performance – backed by a 10-year warranty.

Parasol™ Shadecloth combines durability, UV protection, and ease of fabrication, making it the preferred choice for commercial shade structures, outdoor workspaces, and high-performance shading solutions.

GENERAL CARE INSTRUCTION
A regular clean using soapy water and a soft brush followed by rinsing with
clean water is recommended. Do not allow bird droppings and similar organic
matter to remain for any length of time.
It is recommended that sunshades are taken down ahead of gale-force
winds. Avoid collection of snow or hail as this may damage the sunshade or
supporting structure.

SPOT CLEANING/SPECIAL TREATMENTS
For persistent dirt or stains apply sugar soap and water to the affected area
and work in with a soft-bristled brush; leave for 15-20 minutes then rinse away;
repeat if necessary.
A regular spray with a commercial cleaning agent (refer manufacturer’s
instructions and prohibitions/warnings stated above) while the fabric is under
tension will help to prevent build-up of lichen, moss and mould.
