Coats Dabond Outdoor is a bonded, twisted continuous filament polyester thread.

Demonstrating superior sewing performance, new Dabond Outdoor has been specifically designed for outdoor life. In a world where stringent cleaning and disinfecting is now the norm, it is colourfast against UV, chemicals and vinyl. It’s the ideal thread for the toughest outdoor conditions – on land and at sea.

Ideal for manufacturing sails and countless other outdoor and marine applications, it is a bonded, twisted continuous filament polyester thread. Unlike conventional polyester bonded threads, it has exceptional bond cohesion, giving it excellent sewing properties in the toughest conditions. It is completely colourfast., with excellent UV, vinyl, abrasion and chemical protection – particularly relevant in a COVID-affected world where stringent cleaning processes have become the norm.

The customer must inspect the goods upon delivery and report any defects, shortages, damage, or mismatches within 10 days. The company must be given a reasonable chance to inspect any allegedly defective goods. If no notice is given within the timeframe, the goods are considered accepted and free from defects. If the company agrees the goods are defective, it may choose to repair or replace them.

Returns are only accepted if the company approves them in writing, the goods are returned within 7 days at the customer’s expense, and the goods are unused, properly stored, and returned in near-new condition with original packaging and materials.

The company will not accept returns for customised goods, cut textile products, altered or tampered goods, indent goods, or goods that were improperly stored or handled by the customer.

The company may charge a handling fee of 20% of the returned goods’ value (or $100 minimum) and/or return freight costs if the return is due to the customer’s fault or omission.
