With New Zealand noted as an “OUTDOORS” country, it is only fitting that we produce such a vast array of “Recreational” products.
Not only are we seeing our products and designs on the shores of NZ they are also prominent in many other countries around the world, which is a credit to our tradespeople and “Kiwi Ingenuity”, but also it is a credit to the type of fabrics that are available.
As a sports mad nation much of our PVC range is put to the test in various applications.
The durability of PVC makes for an easy choice fabric when it comes to producing items such as Tackle Bags, Crash Pads and Mats, Goal Post Protectors, Promotional Tents etc.
The characteristics of PVC allows for ease of fabrication and printability, it is also strong and durable, cost effective, easy to clean and available in a wide range of colours and weights.
Within 30 minutes of most major New Zealand cities you can be in complete wilderness countryside experiencing the great outdoors. This allows for a large percentage of Kiwi’s to be so called “Weekend Campers”.
W Wiggins is able to offer an extensive colour range of Polyester/Cotton blend and Polyester/Acrylic coated canvas produced by DEFAB WEAVERS for the Tenting and Awning market.
The unique characteristics of PVC from W Wiggins has allowed for some amazing and unusual inflatables to be produced for both the New Zealand and overseas markets. With Flexibility and Durability, being key components to manufacturing quality inflatables our PVC can be found on all types of inflated promotional equipment whether it is an Air Sealed or an Air Pressured Inflatable
Keeping NZ children safe while they play
We are proud to be associated with Canvasland in the marketing of the new revolutionary safe SpringFree trampoline in New Zealand.
Designed by Keith Alexander, a Canterbury University mechanical engineering senior lecturer, SpringFree is a totally new concept in backyard trampolines - Safe Trampolines. How do we define what's safe? By the impact zones of the trampoline;' the fewer the impact zones, the safer the trampoline.
Impact zones are areas on a trampoline beyond the jumping surface where most trampoline injuries occur.
Trampolines have four possible impact zones - the springs, the frame, the ground and in some cases, the poles that support the safety enclosure. We didn't just try to reduce these impact zones, we got rid of them. Springfree has no springs and no frame at the jumping surface. The FlexiNet enclosure system eliminates contact with the ground without rigid metal poles. That's four zones, zero impact. That's why SpringFree is the Safe Trampoline!
